MTV had its brand refresh in 2013 and needed guidelines – intended for both internal people and external collaborators – to ensure the right application and implementation of the new identity elements across video, print and social media. As MEAT we have been asked by MTV World Design Studio, then based in Milan, to design those guidelines.

Three of us – Luca Lattuga, Massimo Pastore and myself – proposed three completely different approaches to choose from and when Massimo’s was chosen as a starting point for the final result, we worked together to design clear and comprehensive brand manuals.
